Saudi Arabia can succeed only with Sunni Caliphate and not by useless coalition of 34 / 44 countries
Sub:- Saudi Arabia can succeed against terrorism of ISIS etc only with Sunni Caliphate and not by useless coalition of 34 / 44 countries
-- If coalition of 65 countries (including Saudi Arabia and many other countries of this coalition of 34 countries) led by USA could not eliminate ISIS then what chances Saudi Arabia (SaAr) has with recently announced coalition of Sunni Muslim majority 34 countries (10 more such countries are claimed to be joining this coalition) is any body’s guess. Hence if SaAr is really serious about fighting terrorism which is inflicting many Muslim countries [immensely so in North Africa and Middle East (NAME) region] then SaAr should form Sunni Caliphate as explained below:-
(1)- World comprises mainly of four major groups the Christians, Muslims, Chinese and Hindus. The Christians are economically & militarily powerful hence their many countries of developed West do not matter. Chinese and Hindus are solidly in one country each. It is only Muslims of developing world who are living in different countries hence are unable to become reckon-able military power (crucial for deciding any international dispute / issue and that too in this age of globalization) because their resources are divided in meaninglessly repetitive / similar assets & activities . Therefore Sunni Muslims all over the world (who are bleeding and weeping profusely in many countries) find the idea of one Caliphate for them (as given by ISIS), very attractive.
(2)- Idea of Caliphate (given by ISIS) has tremendous appeal among Sunni Muslims (~ 85 % of ~ 2 Billion Muslim population) across the world due to one more reason. ISIS Caliphate is prepared to face militarily any power (including superpower West, the Christian USA & its Allies and Russia) in order to protect Islamic way of life (as is seen by ISIS may be wrongly being unnecessarily violent, regressive and anti-human rights). But its ultimate courage / sacrifice is appreciated by Sunni Muslims. Similarly will be appreciated by Sunni Muslims across the world only when this Caliphate of SaAr will make Sunni majority Syria & Western half of Iraq a part of this caliphate (even militarily if necessary).
(3)- Therefore SaAr will succeed only when it tries to establish human rights friendly Sunni Caliphate (to start with) in geographically continuous NAME region which will not show any cowardice while protecting its vital interests. Remaining countries (out of 44 Sunni Muslim countries) may join this Caliphate or come in alliance with this Caliphate in order to achieve its stated objective of fighting terrorism of ISIS etc.
(4)- This United States of Democratic Federal Republic Sunni Caliphate (USDFRSC) of SaAr will succeed if it adopts the following:-
(i)- In any country whoever runs the institution of health and education runs the country. In order to give supremacy to people in democracy (through religion which will serve the purpose of Islam of not separating State from religion) the institution for education can be taken-up later but people should first be given the responsibility of running the institution of health care through religion (as is done through Mutual Funds for shareholders in limited companies / corporations). The ‘Participatory Health Care Program’ (PHCP) should be launched, as given below, to provide health care in USDFRSC for every employee (whether in organized or in unorganized sectors) and to economically humble employers / self-employed (A)- In management in addition to representatives from government the elected representatives of employees and of employer (making contributions may be through Mutual Funds of Islam) should be there (B)- There should be first appellate tribunal nominated by employers which can look into leave (suspected to be unnecessary) granted by PHCP doctors to ailing employees (second such appellate tribunal may be nominated by government) ( C)- Throughout his / her life every medical care / facility should be free to every member (and his / her dependent family member) of this PHCP.
(ii)- USDFRSC should adopt this socio-political system (of not separation of State from religion which is defining feature of Islam). Rather (as in many countries Governor of State is ex-officio Chancellor of all universities in that State) it can easily be achieved by merely having USDFRSC President / Caliph (the CEO & supreme commander of its armed forces) as ex-officio Chairman of all the said participatory Philanthropic Institutions (with Mutual Funds of Sunni Islam and other religions practiced in USDFRSC) which will serve the purpose of bringing saints and warriors (two forces which predominantly shape any civilization) under one authority in USDFRSC.
(iii)- USDFRSC should enact laws in order to discourage unbridled usury (the Islamic principle against unbridled interest earning) (A)- By restricting interest maximum up-to 4 % for taking care of working expenses of banks and financial institutions (B)- By deploying State-capital (born out of fiscal deficit) profitably in unemployment removal programs of constructing residential and commercial buildings which will be given on rent to be decided by ‘Rent Commission’ in USDFRSC.
(iv)- There should be ‘Human Rights Commission’ in USDFRSC for enforcing human rights [especially of minorities (religious, ethnic, linguistic), women, children and old people (generally as per ICCPR of UN) in every State], even militarily if necessary.
(v)- Mandatory requirement for every State of USDFRSC to provide adequate facilities and place for protest / demonstrations and prisons for those who break laws or offer arrest during protests / demonstration (‘excess on demonstrators’ was main excuse for regime change as happened in Ukraine and in many NAME countries).
(vi)- Mechanism (including international) for prosecuting government authorities of USDFRSC committing serious crimes including excess on demonstrators / protesters and war crimes (including thus-far have been committed by ISIS etc).
(vii)- Common currency for USDFRSC with proper asset back-up under physical and constructive possession of money issuing authority.
(viii)- Without competition between religions, a religion also degenerates. Hence Freedom of religion should be unfettered in USDFRSC and ONLY ‘conversion through physical coercion’ (and not through so-called inducement of any type) should be made illegal in USDFRSC.
(ix)- Only martial matters should be with Centre/ Union / Federal government and all civilian matters including natural resources should be with States of USDFRSC.
(x)- USDFRSC should demand that instead of veto wielding UN there should be participatory UNSC with voting rights to USDFRSC too based on formula commensurate with contribution of men, materiel and money to UN by members (USDFRSC etc).
(5)- Last but not the least, USDFRSC should keep in mind that:-
(i)- every religion has two elements, this-worldly and other-worldly. About other-worldly matters of Islam (like, heaven, hell, day of judgment, ghosts, rebirth, etc) Islam may deal with these in whatever way it likes. But this-worldly matters should be updated as per the requirements of contemporary world (which is democratic with scientific temper, human rights friendly, giving equality to working class and women, rule of legislated laws etc.)
(ii)- USDFRSC should concentrate on essentials of Islam and not on incidentals. For example keeping military power and religion (related to this-worldly matters) under one authority (the defining feature of Islam) can be achieved as mentioned above, by having USDFRSC President (Caliph) as ex-officio Chairman of all participatory Philanthropic Institutions (with Mutual Funds of Sunni Islam and other religions practiced in USDFRSC)
